Funding Summary

The overriding need is for Your YMCA to have and execute a development model that minimizes the gap between the cost to build your new YMCA Centre of Community and the likely result of a capital campaign that minimizes the amount of capital debt the Association must carry.

The intent is to create only enough wealth from this development scheme to minimize the gap. Your YMCA’s only intention, it’s only profit, is the creation of a YMCA Centre of Community for the residents of Peninsular Halifax and in some small way assist HRM to provide a part of a master plan of facilities for the municipality.
